The Kickback Team would first like to congratulate Davis Thompson on his first career PGA Tour win at the John Deere Classic last week. He has all the tools and we expect this young player to have a very bright future. Now, let’s focus on The Scottish Open! Links golf baby! The Renaissance Golf Club is a beautiful true-links track. The wind will most certainly be howling and players will have to make sure to avoid the fescue grass at all costs. It will be the first time we get to see Rory in action since peeling out of the Pinehurst parking lot. We have our eye on Collin Morikawa (+1600) this week. Being the 2021 Open champion, he most certainly has the experience to play well on links golf courses. The form he has been in for the past 3 months has been tremendous; expect Mori to make some noise this week and potentially lock up his 7th PGA Tour win. What a treat to have this tournament the week before the final major of the year!
