We don’t think many people saw Jhonattan Vegas winning The 3M Open, but that is a why we love this sport. A well deserved win for the Venezuelan who gets his first win in 7 years. Really thought Mav McNealy was going to come out on top, but he didn’t have his best stuff on Sunday. Vegas had a 90 foot Eagle putt on 18, which all he had to do was two putt to hoist the trophy. Easier said than done, but he hit a beautiful lag putt to 3 feet and secured the birdie and victory. Good for Johnny!
The 2024 Olympics is upon us! Being played at Le Golf National, this is where the 2018 Ryder Cup was played. We saw Rory fire some shots at the Americans when asked how the rough will play this week in comparison to the 2018 Ryder Cup. Should be an interesting week to say the least.
If someone can convince us Scottie Scheffler (+350) is not taking down the gold medal, please do so. Usually, we never like to take golfers with odds this short, but everything points to Scottie wearing gold come Sunday. Make us proud Scottie!
